ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

While it's been funny to watch lots of people dump water on their heads, I would like to remind everyone that ALS is much bigger than this ice bucket challenge. Below is an excerpt from the ALS Association website briefly describing the disease.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as 'Lou Gehrig's Disease,' is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. WIth voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed."

• A basket party is a party you take on-the-go. You are given a set of scent testers to bring with you wherever you go and samples of Scentsy products to show your friends and family. You collect the orders or they can order online. 
• Online Party
• This party is the easiest one to host. You simply spread the word to everyone you know and they can browse the online catalog to make their selections. You don't have to clean your house or play any games. You simply spread the word and earn  host rewards. 
• Fundraiser
• Scentsy can even help you raise funds for your favorite team or organization. I will help you spread the word about your organization's fundraiser and you will receive a 20% profit on the total sales (before tax). If your organization sells greater than $2,000, your organization will receive 25% of the total sales (before tax).
